Founded in 1997, SecureNetShop.com began as a web site development company. As web designers, we were often faced with the challenge of adding shopping cart capabilities to our client's web sites. Designing custom code for each client was too costly and time-consuming. Seeking 3rd party solutions that could easily integrate into any web site was clearly the best solution.

After struggling with dozens of providers who offered less than adequate products and poor customer support, we realized that if we wanted to offer an easy-to-use,  feature-rich shopping cart to our clients, we would have to build it ourselves.

In September of 1997, we began development on what would soon become our flagship product. After six months of development and testing, we were ready to deliver our new Shopping Cart service to the masses. The response was so overwhelming that we decided to restructure our company and dedicate 100% of our resources to offering cutting-edge, ecommerce-enabling solutions.

Since the release of our shopping cart, we have expanded our suite of services to include merchant account and web site builder solutions.
